Kirkland Signature Cantuccini Toscani IGP Almond Biscotti are imported from Tuscany, Italy. From their delicate almond flavour to their light crunch, these biscuits can be enjoyed either on their own, accompanied with coffee or tea, or traditionally dipped in liquorish wine such as ”Vin Santo”. These biscuits are made using cage-free eggs, 21% almonds and millefiori honey for a delicious and moreish taste.

Starting in the second half of the 16th Century, cantuccini made their first appearance at the Medici court. The 18th Century was characterised by the spreading of the cantuccini in various forms, but starting in the 20th Century, production of the cantuccini with almonds began all over Tuscany. Today, this confectionery speciality is exported all over the world.
